How to vote in 2005 for Lakeport City Council Election

If you live in Lakeport, and are a registered voter, you will be receiving a sample ballot and ballot in the mail starting March 7-28th. You may also pick them up from the Registrar of Voters Office Mon-Fri 9-5 after March 7th.

This is a special election for an open seat on the Lakeport City Council.

Currently Bill Knowles, "Buzz" Bruns, Bob Rumfelt, and Ted Madrones are the Lakeport City Council. Sadly, last October, Dick Lamkin passed away.

There is a great of interest in this race. A markedly different feeling than other City Council elections in recent past. There are five candidates vying for the seat. I am one of them, and you can read about my platform
here
.

Currently, Ron Bertch, Ted Falconer, Kristine Groff, myself, and Roy Parmentier are running.
Mr. Parmentier has been on the City Council before.

The last day to register to vote here in Lakeport is March 21. Fill out a registration form found at the post office, maybe the Library, a Party HQ office, online, and last but not least, the Registrar of Voter's office on the 2nd Floor of the Lake County Courthouse.

You can call 707.263.2372 to register
You can call 707.263.5615 ext 12 for Barbara in regards to Election details.

Be seeing you around town! Look for the light blue '69 VW Fastback.
