Well! The debate was so damn...good!
We all got to comment or bring up important issues.
This was an honest expression of democracy in action.
I am very honored to have had a chance to be a part of it.
You can read about it from the Record-Bee.
You can also participate in an online poll
Vote early, vote often, as they say
The room was about a third of the way full.
Audience included:
Mrs. Lamkin
Mayor Rumfelt
Chief Engtrom
Bob Bridges
My Mom, my son and my friends :)
Mr. Bruns came in for a bit
and more.
KPFZ, KXBX simulcasted during the live broadcast.
I still haven't been able to find out the rebroadcast schedule after many calls around town.
Discovered that Mediacom didn't bother to list itself in the phone book.
The main toll free line on the website was useless.
Says a lot right there IMHO
According to the Lake Co. Registrar's Office, roughly 400 ballots have come in so far, so there are still more to come in. I think about 2K went out.
On Tuesday, March 29th, KPFZ 104.5FM will be interviewing us all for approximately 15 minutes each from 9AM-11AM. I go on at 9:30AM ;)
I guess I gotta hook up my internal radio receiver on my computer, sacrificing sound to my 2nd CD burner...heh.
